1. Clean the tray
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean any food or drinks that have spilled onto the tray.
To clean the tray, use soapy water and a soft cloth to clean it.
Do not place any part of the chair in a washing machine or dryer.
After washing the tray, dry it with a towel.
2. Find the buttons at the sides
The tray’s underside has side handle buttons. Each side has one button.
These buttons have a wedge shape.
These buttons can be found along the outside of your seat’s side railings.
3. Both sides’ handles should be pressed simultaneously
One hand should be placed over each button on the side handles. Place one hand over each side handle button.
4. To adjust the tray, slide it slightly
You can adjust the tray by moving the tray forward or backward if you only want to change it.
The tray can be locked in three positions. When the tray snaps into one position, you should hear a click.
These positions should not be used if the high chair is being used. When folding the tray up, do not place it on the chair.
5. To remove the tray thoroughly, slide it out
You can obliterate the tray when you are ready to fold the high chair. Slide the tray forward, and lift the chair sides railings.
Put the tray down. Once folded up, you can put it together with the rest.
1. Clean the seat
Before folding the high chair up, it is a good idea to wipe any food or drinks that have been spilled with a damp, soft cloth.
You should wash your seat and back with soapy water now and again.
It would help if you did not wash the chair or dry it in a dryer.
Use a towel to dry the seat.
2. Steer behind the chair
Turn the chair, so the back faces you.
This position allows you to fold the chair much more quickly. If you are standing in front of the highchair, it might be challenging to complete the steps.
3. Find the latch release triggers
Each side has one latch release trigger. They are located underneath the side rails that run toward and towards the back of each chair.
The bottom of each trigger should have a slight indentation so your fingers can rest there.
4. Pull the triggers up
Hold the triggers in your hands and pull them up at the same time.
Pressing the triggers can be difficult. To get the best results, place your thumb on a stationary chair part just above the trigger. This will give you leverage. You can use your other fingers to push the trigger in.
The chair will lift upward as you press the triggers. Continue lifting the chair until you hear the “click,” which signifies that the latches that secure the chair’s upright posture have been released.
5. When the chair begins to collapse, release the triggers
After the latches are removed, the high chair will naturally collapse in itself. Once this happens, you can release your latch release triggers.
Once you have removed your hands from the triggers of the high chair, slide them up to the rest of the high chair frame just below the cloth-covered back.
6. Rotate the seat towards the legs
Push the cloth-covered back and the cloth-covered seat forward. Continue pushing until the back and seat are right next to your legs.
As the seat tilts down towards your legs, bend over.
Alternatively, you can hold the seat in one hand and lift the legs with the other. At this point, the chair should not touch the ground. Use both hands to fold the sides together.
Hint
Before you store a high chair you must consider a few matters before storing it. These are to ensure that your high chair remains in good condition so it can be used by your baby and unborn children.
After each use, wipe your highchair with a damp cloth. Instead of putting it in the dishwasher, wash the highchair with mild soap and a little warm water-use mild soap with a bit of warm water to get the highchair washed out. This will help protect you and the baby from unseen germs and sticky prints.
1. Keep it together
Grab the legs and side rails of the folded chair at once when moving it. Before you lift or move the foldable high chair, hold both sections together.
When folded, the high chair doesn’t have any straps. It will likely fall open if you only hold it on one side (the seat or the legs).
2. The chair should be stored securely
The folded high chair can be stored horizontally under a table or chair.
To reduce the chance of it being lost, place the tray on top of the folded chair.
You can also store the chair vertically by sliding it into a corner between two structures. It would help make sure the space was narrow enough that the seat and legs were close together. Otherwise, the chair could easily slide backward.
1. The high chair can be positioned at the back
Place the high chair on your back so that the legs face forward. The chair’s back and seat should face inward.
You will be standing on the chair when you unfold it.
Standing in this position, it is often easier to fold the chair.
2. Place the legs of the high chair on the ground
Place the legs of your high chair on the floor. Once the legs are stable, grab onto the back edge of the seat.
This may require you to bend or lean over the chair.
Use one hand to grasp the seatback. To hold the rest of your chair steady, use your other hand.
3. Rotate the seat so that it is not in contact with the legs
Pull the seat backward and separate the back from the legs. Continue to pull the seat apart until you hear a click.
This is a sign that the chair has been secured in its upright position.
4. Place the tray back into place
Place the tray’s back over the railings. Push the tray forward, sliding it towards the back of your chair.
If the tray is proving to be too difficult to put back on, you can try pressing the buttons at the sides. After that, it should slide on much more quickly.
Continue to slide the tray in until it clicks again. This is the signal that it has clicked into place.
Once you have reattached it, move the tray around without pressing down on the sides. The tray should be still.
